New Features

Design

  • A new design for the course and portal navigation bar, that dynamically takes on a color that fits the banner.

  • Banner now has the option to include the Portal Icon.

Browser Push Notifications

  • All browsers on desktop.

Portals

  • New “Text block” widget to add HTML content.

  • New “List” display style in widgets to allow for a more compact presentation if you have many items.

Course and Program Navigation

  • Banner now has the option to include the Course or Program icon.

  • Improved presentation on smaller (phone) screens.

Editor improvements

  • Better Page and Portal editors (like you are used to in the Course Step editor)

  • Improved “Course Settings” screen combines all options into a single page with tabs.

  • Improved “Program Settings” screencombines all options into a single page with tabs.

Categories

  • You can setup where individual categories may be used (Everywhere, Course, Page, Member) with ‘Available on….’

Steps

  • The Submit button in the middle is only shown when there are questions.

SCORM Cloud 

  • We now support the V2 API.

New quiz and survey options

To offer more variety, we have added four new question types. On the Quiz tab, there now are the additional options: "Word bank", "Match" and "Rank". Improved Member Import and Step Options Menu

  • Course-level assistants can no longer create/edit member profiles. One can only assign existing members to a course.

Step Options Menu / Table of Contents

  • We now have a consolidated modal window to edit all meta settings of a course step. This modal can now also be opened from the ToC (replacing the step appearance options in the dropdown)

  • Password Policy: we now require 10 (not 8 characters) for newly set passwords. Existing passwords remain valid.

  • Course Import: When importing courses from another academy, the user must now enter the other academy's username/password

  • Reports: show the “time” the learner spent (between commenced and completed)

  • Reports: added “passed/failure” filter in the Member Performance report

  • Reports: make the courses, members, etc. clickable

  • The Activities view now includes the 'reminded' logs again (they went missing in 7.1)
